Proposed Merger between Albert House Clinic & South Grange Medical Centre
We would like to inform you that we have started the process of a merger with South Grange Medical Centre.
Under the proposal both surgeries will operate from South Grange Medical Centre which is located just around the corner from Low Grange Health Village on the Trunk Road.
The reason for this proposed merger is to improve the quality of services provided for both surgeries, including access to appointments and an increased range of services. By bringing the two practices together we will also achieve better use of the space at South Grange Medical Centre and share expertise more effectively.
We have discussed the proposed merger with our Patient Participation Representatives who are in full support of the proposed merger.
Patients attending the surgery will benefit from a wider access of appointment times during 8:00am -6:00pm along with extended hours on a Saturday for pre-booked appointments.
We hope the merger will be completed by the end of January 2017. We have attached a factsheet which gives further details about the proposed merger and the benefits to our patients.
Updated information throughout the merger process will be displayed within the surgery and also posted here on our practice website.
